Visibility rarely happens by accident. Brands that consistently show up in the right conversations tend to treat PR as a discipline, not a one-off press release.

1. Lead with a clear narrative. Journalists and audiences respond to a consistent point of view, not scattered announcements. Define the two or three themes your brand wants to own before pitching anyone.

2. Build relationships before you need them. The strongest coverage usually comes from journalists who already understand your business, not a cold pitch sent the week of launch.

3. Pair earned coverage with digital signals. A great story in the press should also translate into backlinks, social proof and search visibility, not disappear after the print run.

4. Measure beyond clip counts. Share of voice, sentiment and audience quality tell you far more about whether PR is actually building your reputation.
